North Carolina freshman catcher Eric Grintz went 4-for-4 with four runs batted in and a run scored, as the Tar Heels topped Elon by a final score of 7-1 at Boshamer Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.
It was a career-day for Grintz, who’s in just the fourth game of his young college career. His second multi-hit game in less than a week give him a half-dozen in all, and a team-leading .500 average and eight RBIs. UNC senior center fielder Dylan Harris went 1-for-3 with an RBI, and has now hit safely in each of the Tar Heels’ first four games.
