Mikey Madej went 3-for-4 with a run scored and two runs batted in, and North Carolina beat High Point by a final score of 14-0 at Boshamer Stadium on Wednesday.
Madej’s three hits against the Panthers led North Carolina, and he was one of four Tar Heels to score an extra base hit on the day. He had two doubles, while Dallas Tessar and Angel Zarate each had one, and sophomore preseason All-American Aaron Sabato got his first home run of the season. Freshman catcher Will Stewart went 2-for-2 with a run and three RBIs, and senior center fielder Dylan Harris extended his hit streak to five games.
