North Carolina beat UNC-Wilmington 4-3 on Tuesday night thanks to a walk-off home run off the bat of Dylan Enwiller in bottom of the ninth inning. The thrilling afternoon victory at Boshamer Stadium improved the Tar Heels’ 2019 record to 8-0, and extended their home win streak to 26 games.
North Carolina was down two runs in the bottom of the fifth inning when they began a game-tying rally that started with an error by UNCW shortstop Adam Smith. The Tar Heels got RBI singles from Jackson Hesterlee and Dylan Harris, knotting the game at two runs a piece.
