Students start arriving on campus within a couple of weeks, and football is already deep into their opening training camp. For all of college sports’ intents and purposes, fall is in session. And to hammer the point home, the last vestige of summer college sports ended this past weekend: Summer League Baseball.
Last week you were able to read about how most of the Tar Heels had already begun their summer vacation. However, two of them still had some playoff baseball to play. They got one extra game, as the Forest City Owls with Josh Dotson and Connor Ollio played the Macon Bacon in the divisional round of the Coastal Plain League Playoffs.
