Punxsutawney Phil may have seen his shadow this year, but college spring sports are arriving nonetheless. For UNC, baseball season officially starts on Valentine’s Day, when the Tar Heels will begin their campaign to get back to Omaha with a tough opening series hosting a perennially good Texas Tech team. As always, we’ll have coverage of the Heels as the season is going on, but before it gets started, it might be useful to have a preseason guide to this team, especially given how much turnover they saw due to graduation and the MLB Draft last summer.
