After going into a bit of a slump, the North Carolina Tar Heels baseball team picked up a needed series win last weekend against Boston College and then picked up a mid-week victory over South Carolina. That put Carolina in a good placed headed into a matchup against Miami.
While the Hurricanes are a historical college baseball power, this hasn’t been the best season so far for them. That being said, they’re still not a team you want to take for granted, and judging from UNC’s pitching, the Tar Heels didn’t.

Jake Knapp came up huge to get the Tar Heels off to a winning start, as he struck out 10 in seven innings in a shutout win.
