While Vance Honeycutt was the big-ticket draftee from UNC Baseball this year, becoming the program’s highest-picked player since 2017, the Diamond Heels had plenty of other draftable talent on a roster that went to Omaha this spring. Honeycutt’s roommate, Casey Cook, was drafted early the next day, in the third round, and in total, six Diamond Heels and one of Scott Forbes’ commitments to the freshman class of 2025 were selected by Major League squads over the course of the Draft’s three days.
