The #6-ranked Diamond Heels improved to 4-0 to start the 2025 season, taking down the Kansas State Wildcats 12-9 Tuesday in a game that was moved up from Wednesday in anticipation of incoming winter weather — because it’s baseball season, so there’s always the threat of sleet/snowfall, right?
It was a wild and crazy game at the Bosh that opened with the Heels leading after just the first inning on two errors by the Wildcats. Things cooled off a bit the next four innings with only K-State managing a single run off of a solo home run from Maximus Martin.
