The former UNC baseball star made his Single-A debut after playing a few games for the Baltimore Orioles’ Rookie League club.
After being selected in the second round of the 2023 MLB Draft, Mac Horvath agreed to a contract with the Baltimore Orioles and was sent to the organization’s Rookie League club.
His time in the Florida Coast League certainly didn’t last long!
The former UNC baseball star appeared in three games for the FCL Orioles, collecting five hits in 9 official at-bats. He reached base in eight of his 12 total plate appearances, scoring on six of those occasions.
