It’s not a good bit, per se, but it’s a bit that I’ve done for as long as I can remember. A ball game of any sport, instead of ending in a tie, will go to extra innings. I was disappointed earlier this year, for example, to see my beloved Carolina Hurricanes lose a couple of vital postseason games to the New York Rangers in extra innings. Few things in sports are more thrilling than a last-second touchdown to send a football game to extra innings. Unfortunately for my friends and family, though, my commitment to this specific bit isn’t limited to only sports.
