UNC baseball hosted UConn for a Wednesday night contest and jumped out to an early lead but ultimately fell to the Huskies 5-1. The Tar Heels (16-5, 2-4 ACC) continued to struggle at the plate, recording six hits but failing to find the gaps when they had runners in scoring positions. The lone bright spot for Carolina came right from leadoff man Kane Kepley. (GoHeels.com)
