It’s been a month since the Diamond Heels played an ACC series away from Boshamer Stadium, due a weird quirk of the schedule that had Carolina playing three series at home after two weekends on the road. They needed the home cooking, though, as during that time their offense went from non-existent to nuclear hot, and that offense didn’t disappoint as the Tar Heels went up to Blacksburg for a weekend set against the Virginia Tech Hokies.
