Blayne Jones went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and two RBIs, and Ryan Wrobleski hit a two-run home run, as Dallas Baptist beat North Carolina by a final score of 6-3 at Boshamer Stadium on Saturday afternoon. It was the second-half of a doubleheader, and the Tar Heels’ first loss of the 2020 season.
Starting pitcher Chandler Arnold threw five innings of two-run baseball, allowing four hits and three walks, while striking out four North Carolina batters. He picked up the victory, and reliever Burl Carraway got the save.
North Carolina got a pair of home runs from Dylan Harris and Will Stewart.
