The North Carolina Tar Heels will look to defend their 2019 conference title when the Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball Championship moves to Charlotte, North Carolina for the 2020 season.
The ACC and the Charlotte Knights minor league baseball organization came to an agreement, and announced the change in venue in a release on Thursday. The games will be played at the Knights’ home field, BB&T Ballpark in Charlotte on May 19-24.
The tournament has been played in Durham, North Carolina seven of the past 11 seasons. The other four times it was played at NewBridge Bank Park in Greensboro (2010, 2012, 2014), and Louisville Slugger Field (2017) in Kentucky.
