The University of North Carolina finished 13th in the 2017-18 Learfield Directors’ Cup thanks to strong performances from men’s soccer, men’s field hockey, and women’s lacrosse among others. This year marks the 19th consecutive time that the school has finished in the top-15 of the Directors’ Cup.
The men’s soccer team finished in third place this season, earning 83 points for the Tar Heels toward the Directors’ Cup. So, too, did the men’s field hockey team and the women’s lacrosse team, which both finished just shy of a national title this season in their respective sports.
