Former Tar Heel and National Player of the Year Tyler Hansbrough is back overseas, and putting up big numbers in the Chinese Basketball Association.
Hansbrough is nearly three years removed from an NBA roster, his most recent stop with the Charlotte Hornets in 2016. Now a member of the Zhejiang Golden Bulls, the 2008 ACC Player of the Year is with his second Chinese team in two years following a one-year stint with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants of the NBA G-League.
In 20 games with the Golden Bulls this season, the 6-foot-9, 255-pound Hansbrough is averaging a double-double.
