UNC Alumni in the NFL: Eric Ebron leading the league in touchdowns

Through the first four seasons of his NFL career, former Detroit Lions tight end Eric Ebron hauled in 11 touchdowns in 56 games. Just 13 games into his first season with the Indianapolis Colts, though, Ebron has already notched 12 touchdowns.

Despite being sorely underutilized in Detroit, the fifth-year pass catcher out of North Carolina has rejuvenated his career in a big way. His dozen scores are tied with All-Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown for first-place in the NFL, and he’s on pace to beat personal bests in receptions, yards and first downs that he set in 2016.
