Twenty-one UNC fencers will compete at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Regionals Saturday at Lafayette College in Easton, Pa. The Tar Heels qualified for Regionals based on their season performance and will fence athletes from 12 other schools in an effort to earn entry to the NCAA Championships field.
Saturday’s action will take place at Kirby Sports Center in Easton, Pa.
The NCAA Championships are set for March 23-26 at Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis, Ind.

Junior Meredith Bozentka and sophomore Matthew Garrelick, both in sabre, reached the NCAA Championships last year and are vying for return trips.
