The organ transplant clinic at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, N.C. was named the Jason Ray Transplant Clinic in 2016, in honor of the former UNC student who played the Rameses mascot for Tar Heel athletic events. Jason, who was an organ donor, lost his life ten year ago in an accident in New Jersey.
