CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – UNC senior defender Tori Hansen, a first-team All-America player, was selected by the Orlando Pride in the third round of the 2023 National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) Draft Thursday night.
Hansen is the 21st Tar Heel taken in the NWSL Draft and the first drafted by the Orlando Pride.
A four-year letterman from Raleigh, N.C., Hansen led the Tar Heels to a runner-up finish in the 2022 NCAA Women's Soccer Championship and a share of the ACC regular season title. She was tabbed first-team All-America by College Soccer News after being named a United Soccer Coaches All-America second-team honoree.
