CARY, North Carolina - Top seed and No. 2 ranked North Carolina will face 9th-seed Wake Forest in the quarterfinals of the ACC Women’s Tennis Championship on Friday from the Cary Tennis Center at 9 a.m.

Carolina (26-2) enters the ACC Championship as the top seed in the event for a fourth-straight season, yet is in search of its first title since 2011, and the seventh in program history.
UNC chalked up a second straight 14-0 record against the ACC in 2016, marking the fifth time in program history the Tar Heels went unbeaten in the conference.
