Top 20 UNC Football Teams: No. 17 - 1971

1971 was Bill Dooley's first ACC championship team. UNC ran the ball 57 times per game and finished with a record of 9-3, falling to Georgia, coached by Bill Dooley's brother Vince Dooley, in the Gator Bowl. (Tar Heel Illustrated)
