CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – North Carolina student-athletes Jake Bernstein, Houston Summers and Carly Wooten were inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, the nation’s most prestigious honors society, during the fall of 2015. They were among 144 UNC students honored in a ceremony on Nov. 9.
Bernstein, a senior who is a member of the men’s fencing team, is from St. Louis, Mo., and is majoring in computer science.
Summers, a senior who is a member of the men’s track and field team, is from Greensboro, N.C., and is majoring in psychology with two minors: anthropology and medicine, literature and culture.
