Having been suspended from the University of North Carolina previously, freshman point guard Jalek Felton has withdrawn from the Unviersity of Chapel Hill, per his lawyer Kerry Washington:
It is a disappointing and abrupt end to the career of one of UNC’s most hyped recruits in some time, between his high school pedigree and legacy status. Felton’s time as a Tar Heel was turbulent throughout, starting with academic issues hindering him from participating in summer practice and continuing as he received the same notes about intensity and defense seemingly over and over again while struggling to earn significant playing time as a backup point guard.
