Tar Heels Wrap Up Competition At NCAA Championships

MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. - The 2017-18 University of North Carolina swimming and diving seasons came to an end Saturday night at the 2018 NCAA Division I Men's Swimming and Diving Championships concluded at the Jean Freeman Aquatics Center on the University of Minnesota campus.

Senior Michael McBryan, co-captain from Doylestown, Pa., was the only Tar Heel in action on Saturday as he placed 24th in the 200-yard breaststroke in a time of 1:55.41.

The Tar Heels finished 36th in the team standings with six team points. Freshman Greg Duncan was the other Tar Heel in the meet as he placed 11th in 3-meter diving Friday and 23rd in 1-meter diving Thursday.
