• Sixth-ranked North Carolina (10-3, 3-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) will hope to move up in the ACC standings when it hosts third-ranked Syracuse (13-2, 5-1 ACC) on Saturday at noon in Chapel Hill.
• UNC is 3-2 in the ACC after last weekend's win at Louisville. Syracuse (5-1 ACC) is ranked third in the nation and second in the ACC behind undefeated and top-ranked Boston College (5-0 ACC).
• The game will mark the final regular season home appearance for the 2019 Carolina Lacrosse graduating class. Before the game, the Tar Heels will celebrate senior day for a group of eight, including Gianna Bowe, Amanda Dionne, Olivia Ferrucci, Ida Farinholt, Elise Hennessey, Kara Klages, Charlotte Sofield and manager Sidney Swormstedt, whose playing career was cut short a year ago due to injury.
