GAME 14 NOTEBOOK
• Carolina is 53-12 in ACC openers, including 10-5 under head coach Roy Williams.
• This is the first time UNC has opened ACC play against Pittsburgh.
• Carolina travels to Pitt and NC State (1/8) to start conference play. This is the 11th time overall and second time in three seasons the Tar Heels begin ACC play with two road games (1970, 1972, 1974, 1976, 1978, 1980, 1984, 1998, 2003 and 2017). Two years ago, the Tar Heels lost at Georgia Tech, then won in overtime at Clemson en route to winning the 2017 NCAA title.
