Tar Heels To Face Duke Sunday

CHAPEL HILL—Third-seeded North Carolina (16-2) will begin its 2016 NCAA Tournament quest on Sunday at home against unseeded Duke (11-8) in a second-round game in Chapel Hill. The Blue Devils beat unseeded Loyola, 14-8, on Friday afternoon at Fetzer Field.

♦ Carolina won the Atlantic Coast Conference regular season title with a 7-0 mark in conference play and earned an automatic NCAA bid by winning the ACC Tournament in Blacksburg, Va., two weeks ago.

♦ The Tar Heels, seeking their second NCAA title, will take the opening draw with Duke just after 1 p.m. on Sunday at Fetzer Field.
