RALEIGH – Following a weekend sweep of Georgia Tech, Carolina softball captured the #5-seed for the 2016 ACC Softball Championship and will face #4-seed Boston College in the second ACC Quarterfinal on at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 12. The 25th annual ACC Softball Championship will be hosted by NC State at Dail Softball Stadium in Raleigh on May 12-14. All games on Thursday and Friday will be broadcast by the league’s Regional Sports Networks, while Saturday’s title game will air live on ESPN at 2 p.m. All seven games will also be streamed on ESPN3.
