RALEIGH, N.C. – North Carolina women's gymnastics took second place in the Tri-meet at NC State on Saturday with a score of 194.950. North Carolina State University earned first with a score of 196.200, and Temple took third with a score of 194.800.
Following the first rotation, the Tar Heels were in the lead over both teams by a .075 margin, but both teams were close behind.
In the first rotation, Sophomores Hannah Nam and Elizabeth Culton led the team with scores of 9.825 on floor exercise. This was the highest score Nam had posted on the event since February 12.
