CHESTNUT HILL, MASS.—Kennedy Meeks had 20 points and nine rebounds and Justin Jackson posted 22 points as ninth-ranked North Carolina survived a strong effort by Boston College's Ky Brown and beat the Eagles, 90-82, on Saturday afternoon at the Conte Forum.
The Tar Heels won their sixth consecutive Atlantic Coast Conference game to improve to 18-3 this season and 6-1 in ACC action. Boston College fell to 9-11, 2-5. For the first time in UNC history, the Tar Heels have scored 85 or more points in six consecutive ACC games.
