CHAPEL HILL - The University of North Carolina shot 5-under-par 283 in round two of the 42nd Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational to finish the day at 4-under par and tied for 5th. Ava Berger and Brynn Walker both shot 2-under 70 to lead Carolina on the afternoon. Bergner sits at 4-under par and is in a tie for 10th, while Walker is aT 3-under and tied for 15th.
The Tar Heels started off morning with hot putters, knocking in 10 birdies to only three bogeys on the front nine. However, they seemed to cool off just a bit down the stretch, shooting 1-over on the course's back half.
