Tar Heels Rush Past Hurricanes, 62-26

MIAMI GARDENS, FLA.—#17 North Carolina rushed for 554 yards and cruised past #10 Miami, 62-26, on the road on Saturday in a matchup of top-20 Atlantic Coast Conference teams.

Michael Carter and Javonte Williams both ran for a combined 544 yards, the most by teammates in FBS history, and five touchdowns. Carter finished with 308 yards and two touchdowns, and Williams had 236 yards and three scores.

The Tar Heels piled up 778 yards of total offense, the most allowed by the Hurricanes in program history. UNC had 554 rushing yards on 55 carries, averaging over 10 yards per carry as a team.
