CHAPEL HILL—Freshman Nassir Little and graduate student Cameron Johnson led the way as North Carolina defeated Saint Francis (Pa.), 101-76, on Monday night in the Smith Center.
Johnson finished the night with 20 points on 7 of 14 shooting, while Little scored 19 and grabbed seven rebounds. Fellow freshman Coby White scored 16 for UNC.
The victory improved the Tar Heels to 5-0 this season. The Red Flash fell to 1-3.
Johnson led all scorers with 11 points in the first half as Carolina shot 41 percent from the floor while holding Saint Francis to 27 percent.
