CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Lots around Wednesday's game was unique, from the early start time to the starting lineup to the players on the court to the high pitch of the cheers. But the end result was not: for the third time in three games this season, the No. 13 Tar Heels earned a win. With six players in double figures, UNC beating visiting South Carolina State 93-25 to improve to 3-0 on the season.
Carolina welcomed more than 1,000 school kids to Carmichael for the team's Field Trip Day, which featured an 11 a.m. tipoff in order to work with the school day schedule.
