CHAPEL HILL—Luke Maye had 31 points and 12 rebounds and eighth-ranked North Carolina led almost from start to finish, dominating North Carolina State, 113-96, on Tuesday night in the Smith Center.
Maye had his fourth consecutive double-double against NCSU and his fourth career 30-point game, three of which have come against the Wolfpack. Coby White added 21 points, Kenny Williams and Cameron Johnson had 17 apiece and Nassir Little scored 12.
With their sixth straight win, the Tar Heels improved to 18-4 overall this season and finished the first half of Atlantic Coast Conference play with an 8-1 league mark.
