CHAPEL HILL—Coming off back-to-back shutout wins over Pittsburgh and Virginia, the University of North Carolina men's soccer team climbed into the United Soccer Coaches for the first time this spring at No. 15.
The Tar Heels, who were unranked last week but received votes, beat No. 4 Pitt, 3-0, on March 5 and No. 24 Virginia, 2-0, on March 13.
Carolina is 5-3-2 overall in 2020-21, including 5-1-2 in Atlantic Coast Conference action.
