As North Carolina Tar Heel fans, our lasting memory of Marcus Paige is the deep three=pointer he made against Villanova to tie the Nationals Championship game. Despite the Tar Heels losing that game, we will always remember him for that shot.
But despite all the accolades he built up during college, he has had a rough time finding a spot in the NBA.
Paige was drafted at the 55th pick in 2016 by the Brooklyn Nets. He spent the 2016-17 season in Salt Lake City with the G-League affiliate of the Utah Jazz. He made his NBA debut this past season on a two-way contract with the Charlotte Hornets.
