CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The University of North Carolina women's soccer team, 2019 Atlantic Coast Conference regular season and tournament champion, will play host to Belmont University in the first round the NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Championship this coming Saturday, November 16, at 6 p.m. The NCAA first round match will be played at Dorrance Field on the UNC campus in Chapel Hill.
Both teams earned their way into the tournament field by earning automatic bids from their leagues after winning their conference tournament championships. UNC, which has made the tournament field every year since the initial event in 1982, won the ACC Tournament Sunday with a 2-1 double overtime win over previously undefeated and top-ranked Virginia in Cary, N.
