CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - A week ago today, the North Carolina men's lacrosse team faced a must-win situation against Notre Dame in the ACC Championship final. The Tar Heels pulled out their 13th league title since 1981 and were rewarded Sunday night with a bid to the 2017 NCAA Championship.
The Tar Heels are unseeded in the tournament for the second straight year and the third time in the last four years. UNC will play its first round tournament game next Saturday at 7:30 p.m. against America East Conference champion Albany at Bob Ford Field at Tom and Mary Casey Stadium.
