CAROLINA HEADS TO CHARLESTON FOR ACC TOURNAMENT SEMIFINALS: The University of North Carolina women’s soccer team returns to the pitch on Friday when it travels to Charleston, S.C. to meet the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the semifinals of the 2016 Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament.
The match is at 5:30 p.m. Friday and will be played at MUSC Health Stadium in Charleston. In the second semifinal game at 8 p.m. Florida State will match up against Clemson.
The Tar Heels are the #4 seed in the tournament and they advanced to the semifinals with a 3-0 quarterfinal win over Virginia last Sunday in Chapel Hill.
