CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The University of North Carolina men's and women's track and field teams will compete in the ACC Outdoor Track & Field Championships on the campus of Georgia Tech starting on Friday morning. Headed into the championships, sixteen athletes are ranked in the ACC Top 10 and are in a good position to score points for the Tar Heels this weekend.
The Tar Heels will look to improve upon their performance at the ACC Indoor meet, in which the women placed seventh and the men captured ninth place. UNC will not only vie for the ACC title, but will also try to get more athletes qualified for the NCAA Preliminary round in two weeks.
