NOTRE DAME, Ind. – In its final road game of the regular season, the North Carolina women's basketball team fell 83-65 to host Notre Dame Thursday evening at Purcell Pavilion. With their sixth loss in a row, the Tar Heels are now 16-12 overall, 7-10 in Atlantic Coast Conference play.
"It was a tough night for our group, and we'll have to regroup quickly – it's a quick turnaround in this league, with Duke coming to Carmichael on Sunday," UNC coach Courtney Banghart said. "We'll look forward to playing in front of our home fans.
