CHAPEL HILL- The No. 4 North Carolina men's tennis team remains undefeated with a 4-0 victory over No. 12 South Carolina on Sunday night at Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center.
UNC's record improved to 6-0, while the Gamecocks fell to 5-1, marking their first loss of the season.
After the match, Coach Sam Paul remarked, "First of all, South Carolina is a very well-coached team. We knew it was going to be tough as nails. I'm very proud of my team coming here and beating a really good quality team. Look at my senior, William Blumberg, beating the defending NCAA champion in straight sets.
