CLEMSON, S.C. — Joel Berry II scored a career-high 31 points, Justin Jackson scored 18 and Kennedy Meeks had 14 points and 16 rebounds as 14th-ranked North Carolina won at Clemson, 89-86, in overtime on Tuesday night in Littlejohn Coliseum.
The Tar Heels overcame 24 points from Jaron Blossomgame and 20 from Avry Holmes in the win. With the victory, Carolina improved to 13-3 overall this season, 1-1 in Atlantic Coast Conference play. Clemson fell to 11-3, 1-1.
The Tar Heels have won nine in a row and 19 of the last 20 meetings in the series.
