OMAHA, NEB. - The University of North Carolina swimming and diving program continued to put up fast times and record performances Monday in the 2016 U.S. Swimming Olympic Trials at CenturyLink Center.
Senior Hellen Moffitt pulled off a difficult double on Monday, swimming in the preliminaries of the 100-meter backstroke in the morning and the finals of the 100-meter butterfly in the evening. Meanwhile, 2014 Tar Heel alumna Stephanie Peacock broke her own school record in the 400-meter freestyle while earning a spot in the final of that event.
