CHAPEL HILL – North Carolina completed the series sweep of No. 8 Louisville, 10-4, on Sunday afternoon on Bryson Field at Boshamer Stadium.
With the sweep, the Tar Heels handed Louisville its second three-game ACC sweep since joining the league in 2015.
Carolina held Louisville to six runs over the three-game span, which was tied for the fewest number of runs scored for the Cardinals in an ACC series in program history.
The Tar Heel's patience was on full display in the first inning as Carolina drew two walks, which led to the first run of the game.
