CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - North Carolina is the top overall seed for the 2023 NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Team Championship and has also been named a host school for one of 16 regional sites. This is the third-straight season that the Tar Heels were selected as the No. 1 seed in the 64-team field.
UNC will host Charleston Southern, Old Dominion and South Carolina on Friday, May 5, and Saturday, May 6, at the newly constructed Chewning Tennis Center in Chapel Hill.
The first round of regionals are expected to take place on Friday, while the two first-round winners will meet Saturday, for the right to advance to the NCAA Super Regional round the following weekend.
