Not everyone hears their name called on draft day, and that’s what happened to Tar Heels center Lucas Crowley. However, that doesn’t mean he won’t get the opportunity to play for an NFL team. The Arizona Cardinals have signed him as an undrafted free agent.
Coming out of high school, Crowley was considered to be one of the best centers in the country. He proved that over his four years at Chapel Hill where he served as the team’s primary center starting in his sophomore season. He made the All-ACC third team in his junior year before a big senior season where he made second-team All-ACC and was named ACC Offensive Lineman of the Week on three separate occasions.
