A major winter storm is set to dump snow over the Northeast region including up to two feet in Washington D.C. by Sunday. That storm could have an impact on the North Carolina and Virginia Tech basketball game in Blacksburg Sunday afternoon.
While the Blacksburg area is expected to get around 12-18 inches, the major storm could impact the Tar Heels travel to the game. If Blacksburg does get more snow the game could even be postponed as a few other pro sports games have already been cancelled.
